Ms.-I'm-a-solo-star-Tamar is really craving the spotlight. In this week's episode of "Braxton Family Values" the youngest sister in the family, made arrangements using her husband's contacts, to perform at the Soul Train awards, which aired a few months ago. However, she cut her sisters out of the performance segment, which she later labeled a flop.

Tamar did a one minute tribute to music legend Gladys Knight, singing her track "Love Overboard." While Tamar's voice was nice, she did sound a bit out of breath at points. Probably from flinging her weave everywhere and trying to maneuver that dress that looked like she raided the curtain section at JC Penney. To borrow Tamar's words, "That ain't hot!"

Each year, Sony Music executive, Clive Davis, holds a Grammy party the weekend of the awards show. Davis is the man that discovered the late singer, Whitney Houston. There was a lot of controversy over this year's Grammy Party continuing, while Whitney Houston's lifeless body lay upstairs in the same hotel, being processed as apart of a crime scene. People like Chaka Khan publicly spoke out against it, as people were laughing, drinking and dancing, while the singer's dead body was present in the building.

It reminded me of a scene from Houston's most famous film "The Bodyguard." In the movie, Houston's bodyguard (Kevin Costner) had shot and killed a crazy, disgruntled man that was stalking her at an awards show and during the gunfire, was mortally wounded as well. In a macabre move symbolic of Hollywood, her cutthroat, unscrupulous manager, picked up the blood soaked card, containing her character's name as the winner of a prestigious award and put it in his pocket to celebrate the win, because that's all that mattered in his eyes.

Singers Chris Brown and Rihanna have publicly reunited, after three years of privately cheating on their partners to be together, due to a court order that instructed they stay apart, because of serious domestic violence issues. Brown infamously beat the black off Rihanna, after she hit him, whilst leaving a Grammy party. He snapped and began choking her unconscious. The Grammy Awards have a problem, considering Whitney Houston also died getting ready for an event associated with it this year.

Ironically, both Rihanna and Brown, are drug and alcohol abusers. They are also in a twisted Hollywood cult called Kabbalah. This means they have substance abuse issues and mental issues. It is not a normal or healthy relationship to be beating each other. Brown is not the only one that does this. Rihanna likes to brawl with men and women and to do so is dangerous and foolish. You run the risk of raising your hand to punch someone that can hit harder than you, necessitating a trip to the hospital (again). Furthermore, all this hitting is wrong and unnecessary.
