Rod Blagojevich Gets The Maximum In Prison For Attempting To Sell President Obama's Senate Seat

Former Illinois politician, Rod Blagojevich, had the book thrown at him today in court, as he was sentenced to the maximum, 14-years in prison, for attempting to sell the former senate seat of U.S. President Barack Obama. His arrest continues a tradition of Illinois politicians getting arrested for corruption and or accepting bribes.

One would think he would have said all he knows in the face of criminal charges. However, Blagojevich remained silent and did not sell out others that engaged in corruption as well. Time will tell if he will change his mind on the matter for a reduced sentence.
