Just when you thought it was safe to get your hair done in Atlanta, gay on gay violence strikes. Derek J, one of the reality stars from the show "Real Housewives Of Atlanta" got into a disagreement with one of his rivals, Cornbread, I mean Corwin Pledger and it ended in violence.

Pledger stormed into Derek J's salon and shot up the floor, after waving his gun at several customers, who were in the process of getting their weaves realigned and oil changed (who now will never visit Cornbread's salon, as that's not the best advertising, now is it).

But this is what I believe happened (you knew this was coming, right). Pledger was aiming for Derek's little round behind. However, Derek's blinging sequins temporarily blinded him and he missed, hitting the floor instead. You know the sequins are bulletproof, right (just kidding). The loud feminine screams heard after the gun shot...were probably Derek J.

911 tapes indicate that before murderer George Zimmerman, fatally shot and killed unarmed, defenseless 17-year-old Miamian, Trayvon Martin, he referred to him as a "fu*king coon." The word "coon" is an offensive racial epithet for black people, one step down from the slur "nig*er. Zimmerman's slur places this premeditated murder and stalking firmly in the category of a hate crime, which means he violated the Civil Rights Act. This intensifies charges that should be filed, via steeper legal penalties.

The teen, who was on vacation in Central Florida, had ventured outside his dad's middle class gated community in Sanford, to buy his little brother some Skittles candy at a local store. Zimmerman, the forceful "self-appointed" neighborhood watch captain, saw Martin and began stalking the young man as he walked back to his dad's home in the gated community.

The 911 tapes that were initially released were censored to hide the fact Zimmerman used a racial slur in reference to the teenager, who was minding his own business and had every right to be there. An excerpt of the call now reveals the exchange went as follows:

George Zimmerman: "Those fu*king coons..."

George Zimmerman: "They always get away"

911 Dispatcher: ‎"Are you following him?"

George Zimmerman: "Yea"

911 Dispatcher: "We don't need you to do that"

George Zimmerman: ..."He ran"...

17-year-old Miamian, Trayvon Martin, was murdered in sister city, Orlando, Florida, while walking home to his dad's residence, after buying candy at a local store for his little brother. Martin's story has captivated the world, as the teen was gunned down by a trigger happy Neighborhood Watch captain, George Zimmerman, for allegedly "looking suspicious."

You've heard of "Driving While Black" which is being pulled over by some, not all police officers, for being a minority cruising in a luxury vehicle, with the assumption it has been stolen and one is up to no good. Well, Martin was killed for "Walking While Black."

His murder is outrageous. There is no provision in the law that allows anyone to murder a person on the sidewalk because they look suspicious. Martin was well within his right to walk freely on the streets, without fear of attack or death. If people started killing people they thought looked suspicious, millions would die.

Let's be clear, Zimmerman's conduct is criminal and abhorrent and the Judiciary Report is flabbergasted he has remained free all this time after the shooting. He deserves life in prison. Justice must be served in memory of Martin and to send the crystal clear message, this must never happen again.

This child lost his life over what are infuriating, racist reasons. He didn't deserve that and if the government messes around and does not bring charges, there need to be peaceful, organized marches and boycotts, until they say when, as in they've had enough and will do the right thing in a court of law.

Police Are Investigating The Incident

An unnamed 40-year-old man was shot to death at a Miami home belonging to rapper Rick Ross. He was found dead in Ross' driveway, in an incident that currently has more questions than answers. Due to the fact the property in question is listed in Ross' name, police want to question him about the murder.

Previously, Ross was featured on an episode of "MTV Cribs" which showcases celebrity properties on television. He is a former Florida corrections officer from a local prison, which caused controversy in his rap career, as hip hop sees police as the enemy. Coincidentally, Ross was not home at the time the body was discovered by authorities.
