Michael Jackson's Unreleased Songs Criminally Hacked And Illegally Downloaded

Michael Jackson

Sony Music got a terrible taste of its own medicine, as hackers broke into their systems again and stole all of the late Michael Jackson's unreleased copyrighted music, worth a substantial amount of money. Hey, Sony and Warner Bros put this type of criminal behavior on the map and it was only a matter of time before someone turned the tables on them with their own hacking tactics. What comes around goes around.

The two hackers were arrested by police in Britain and have been released on bail pending trial. Sony is in a serious predicament, because the hackers may have passed the files on to others, who are waiting to illegally release them onto the internet.

A potential $200,000,000 in unreleased music is up for grabs and could be completely devalued with a few keystroke, uploading them for free to anyone who wants it. While I'm sorry for Jackson's mother regarding what has happened, I have absolutely no sympathy for Sony.

Whitney Houston's Family Needs To Hire A Law Firm And Accounting Agency For A Forensic Audit Of Her Finances

Whitney Houston

Yesterday, the Judiciary Report went over Whitney Houston's finances based on facts that have been present throughout her career, as part of public record and other items that are known industry rates, percentages and standards. With all her expenditures, Houston should not have died broke or had financial troubles, as was stated in the last weeks of her life.

When you have a hit album out the gate, as Houston did with her debut, you are in a greater position to negotiate a higher royalty rate, which is the accepted standard. Houston had one of the better royalty rates in music regarding album sales. Houston's videos were also not very expensive. Therefore, she would not be stuck with massive costs to recoup per project, such as those that would apply to an artist such as Michael Jackson, who loved big music video productions that cost millions per shoots. Houston had many concert videos, simple in-studio shoots and others that were outdoors, costing far less than big budget CGI videos favored by stars such as Jackson.

Michael Jackson, another Sony star, died in 2009 from a pharmaceutical drug overdose, for which Dr. Conrad Murray was sent to jail. However, Houston's reported heavy alcohol drinking, which pharmaceutical companies warn against when taking their products, may be a technicality that gets doctors off the hook that prescribed her the meds found in her hotel suite.

Her marketing costs were not above average, as Houston's music often sold itself. Her recording cost were above average, as she had the best producers and travel accommodations. However, not to the point that she made very little in profit. Well, not until her last album "I Look To You" which did not sell particularly well. However, that is not enough to negate the massive profits she generated for Sony Music, who made over $1 billion dollars off Houston during her 25-years, based on the number of records she sold in her career. Her royalty rate should have approached 20% with continued negotiations throughout her career.

Houston launched multiple tours that were very successful and when you are an artist of her status based on sales, you can make $1,000,000 per night on stage at the height of your fame. Tours are a major source of income for artists, as it is more cut and dry that the complexities of album sales, where they nickel and dime you on everything.

Houston's 18-year-old daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown will get the bulk of the late singer's estate

Her film career was quite successful as both an actress and producer. She had endorsement deals with companies like AT&T (Remember the "True Voice" ads). Even with her spending habits, that save for roughly $10,000,000 in drugs, she should not have been broke. Her homes were not that expensive compared to other stars, who generated far less revenue, but are still in their properties, when Houston lost two of hers.

Early in her career Houston bought a home in New Jersey, then the surrounding parcels. Her homes in Atlanta and Miami were not that expensive by industry standards. She'd sold the Los Angeles property years prior. She was not like Elizabeth Taylor in the jewelry department. Designers were always giving her clothes. By all accounts she had a few cars. Therefore, being on the brink of bankruptcy should not have entered the picture.

Devastated Cissy Houston arrives to meet her daughter's body at the funeral home in New Jersey, after it was repatriated from Los Angeles where she died

Then, there's the bank interest Houston's level of wealth would have generated. She should have been able to live off the interest alone. For Houston to be broke means tens of millions of dollars are missing from her earnings. When one is struggling with addiction, it is easy to miss such a fact. I do not think Sony gave Houston all that she was due.

The Judiciary Report is also of the belief somewhere on a management and accounting level, Houston was being robbed as well. It's time to call in some independent lawyers and a forensic accounting firm, all on a reasonable set fee, to go over what happened to her fortune, because something is not right. And make no mistake, she was having money problems, as her homes were being foreclosed on.

Will Justin Bieber Date Michael Jackson’s Daughter Paris Jackson

Paris Jackson and Justin Bieber

Now that Michael Jackson's daughter, Paris Jackson, has professed she has a crush on Justin Bieber, who reciprocated flirtatious glances, will the two date. Bieber has already cheated on his girlfriend Selena Gomez. Will he try to date Jackson as well, who is a budding actress (not that it would be right, but it is Hollywood and that is standard there).

Justin Bieber

Bieber is a fan of her late dad and wants to be the new king of pop, based on statements he made in an interview. He undoubtedly finds her interesting due to this fact and it doesn't hurt that she is beautiful as well. In closing, would Michael Jackson have wanted her to date Bieber.

Michael Jackson’s Daughter Is In Love With Justin Bieber

Watch Out Selena Gomez!

Paris Jackson to Justin Bieber: I love you!!!

Paris Jackson, 13, the daughter of the late pop star, Michael Jackson, has been swooning over 17-year old pop star, Justin Bieber. She attended a ceremony with him this week, in honor of her dad and was gushing about him as a singer and person. Jackson said, "We are all very big fans of Justin and his music. I know I am."

Prince Jackson to Justin Bieber: touch my sister and I will beat you down. I will moonwalk all over you!

There's only one problem. Bieber has a girlfriend, 19-year-old, Selena Gomez, who better watch out. Jackson is a beautiful girl. Then again, Gomez is probably used to chicks professing their adoration for Bieber. Nonetheless, she doesn't like it, especially when they are really pretty.

Conrad Murray Appeals His Manslaughter Conviction In The Death Of Singer Michael Jackson

Michael Jackson

Conrad Murray, the former doctor that tended to pop star Michael Jackson in the months before he died, overdosing him on the pharmaceutical drug, Propofol, has filed an appeal in his manslaughter conviction in connection with the singer's death in his Bel Air home at the age of 49.

Murray was overwhelmingly found guilty by a Los Angeles jury, who were in complete unison regarding his criminal misconduct. Judge Michael Pastor also threw the book at Murray, whilst issuing a stern lecture on the lethal consequences of his wanton decisions for money.

Conrad Murray

Murray remains in jail and is representing himself for the appeal. An ill-advised documentary Murray did into the death of Jackson featured him speaking ill of his attorney as "unprepared." Clearly, he feels he can do better. The Judiciary Report would be genuinely surprised if Murray will be successful in overturning the conviction, as the jury was so unanimous and there are no obvious discrepancies or blaring omissions in the prosecution's case.

However, having stated that, I don't have access to all the case documents from the trial, to poke any possible holes in it, but I did watch it online and the prosecution put on a good, solid case. It is going to be hard to deconstruct what the prosecution in this case did and somehow prove it was wrong. Murray's worst enemy right now is the evidence.

Michael Jackson's Doctor Conrad Murray Will Likely Only Serve...

Two Years In Jail Or On House Arrest

Conrad Murray, the doctor of pop singer Michael Jackson at the time of his death from a Propofol overdose, has been sentenced to 4-years in jail in California. Due to overcrowding issues, experts estimate Murray will only serve half that time, while TMZ states he will get house arrest, due to being a first time offender.

Michael Jackson

Murray deserves more time in jail, actually prison, as someone has died in his care, under preventable circumstances, based in recklessness and negligence, which any doctor or scientist should know would induce death. You just can't give someone that much medication of that class (drug designation) in one go. Murray is no fool. He should have known.

Conrad Murray

Judge Pastor gave Murray the maximum sentence he could mete out under state law, which the singer's mother, Katherine Jackson commended. The rest is up to the jail system. Pastor cited Murray's shocking lack of remorse and refusal to accept responsibility in the singer's death, which is true. In a letter to the judge requesting leniency, Murray's mother expressed more contrition than he did, when she was not the one that committed the crime. All the signs are there Murray obtained potent pharmaceutical drugs in the wrong medical setting for a quick payday and fame by association.

Heavy D Laid To Rest

Heavy D

Jamaican rapper, Heavy D, really name, Dwight Arrington Myers, was laid to rest yesterday in New York, after passing away on November 8, 2011 at age 44 of pneumonia and respiratory failure. Heavy D was born in Mandeville, Jamaica and moved to Mount Vernon, New York as a youth with his family.

He made his debut in 1987 in the hip hop group Heavy D & The Boyz, as apart of the New Jack Swing musical movement, pioneered by producer Teddy Riley, who is the founding member of the R&B group Guy. His cousin Pete Rock of the rap group Pete Rock And CL Smooth ("reminisce") also served as producer for Heavy D.

Heavy D and comedian/actor Martin Lawrence. Heavy D. appeared in Lawrence and Eddie Murphy's film "Life"

He enjoyed a string of hits, the most successful being the remake of "Now That We Found Love" originally performed by Jamaican reggae band Third World. During his time signed to Uptown Records as an artist, where he later served as CEO, the first rapper having done so, he had a hand in discovering and developing the R&B acts Jodeci, Mary J. Blige and Soul For Real.

He also hired a then unknown Sean Combs as an intern at Uptown, who later re-branded himself Puff Daddy and P. Diddy, founding his own record label Bad Boy. Heavy D did a number of musical collaborations with other artists, such as B.B. King, Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, Jodeci, Al B. Sure and Aaron Hall of Guy.

Heavy D was name-checked by fellow Jamaican rapper the Notorious BIG on his debut single "Juicy" released on Sean Combs' Bad Boy Records. He performed at the Michael Jackson tribute concert last month. Heavy D also became an actor appearing on Broadway, television and in film. He is survived by his wife and daughter. His death is a reminder of the brevity of life and that anyone can go at anytime, so we must stay close to Jesus and treasure our loved ones.
