Beautiful 23-year-old Lauren Scruggs, the model and blogger that worked as a stylist on the television show "Gossip Girl" is making a remarkable recovery, after accidentally walking into a plane propeller at night, proceeding a flight to look at Christmas lights. Two responding paramedics in Texas that received the call regarding the injured young woman, initially thought she would not survive her extensive injuries, which include a severed hand, cracked skill, damaged eye and shoulder, but began to pray for her after transporting her to the hospital.

Their prayers were answered, as she survived several surgeries and has been walking and talking again. Though she has no recollection of the accident, Scruggs does remember and know who she is, which is a good sign. She also began walking and counting the number of steps she takes. When given a mirror to look at her injuries, Scruggs replied "It's not that bad." Well, when you're that pretty, it would take a whole lot to change that (I'm sure you're still pretty). Her faith and positive attitude in this time of crisis will be beneficial to her. She is remarkable. Scruggs' family is asking the public to pray for her, as infection is a risk for people attempting to recover from such injuries.
Side Bar: let this serve as notice to people that do not like free speech. Lauren lost her hand, sustained a cracked skull, damaged eye and shoulder in injuries that would have killed most...yet girlfriend popped back up and said I'm fine. She will be back to blogging in no time, telling everyone what to wear for the season and what not to wear if you do not want to look unfashionable. You can't hold a blogger down. Get used to it.
